Shamique Frederick

Analyst

Mrs. Frederick joined our office as Intake Officer in July 2017.  Effective 1 April 2018, Shamique was promoted to the position of Appeals and Compliance Analyst in our Information Rights Division.

Previously Ms. Frederick was a summer intern with the former Office of the Complaints Commissioner for several years. During this period, she developed a deep interest in being a part of an organization that instills and upholds good governance for the betterment of the public sector.

Mrs. Frederick holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) Degree from the Truman Bodden Law School and an Associates Degree in Literary Studies from the University College of the Cayman Islands. She is a qualified mediator and a Freedom of Information Practitioner ("PC.foi").

Mrs. Frederick is keen on promoting transparency and accountability across the Cayman Islands Government through fair, independent and impartial investigations.
