Data Protection Analyst

Mrs. Martinson was promoted to Senior Data Protection Analyst after being with the office for 2.5 years as a Data Protection Analyst.  Mrs. Martinson joined our team with considerable experience and training in the Information Technology field and as an Adjunct Professor. She holds a MSc. in Information Technology, A Post-Graduate Certificate in Data Protection & Information Governance and a Post Graduate Award in Management.

She also holds industry certifications from, CompTIA for the A+ and Network+, Cisco as a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor as well as a project management qualification from the Association for Project Management. She is also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) through which she holds both the Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certifications.

Previously, she worked for the Cayman Islands Government’s Computer Services Department for 8.5 years and was extensively involved in various Cybersecurity and Enterprise Content Management related projects as well as IT support.
